This is a very hard to find medal. It is in exceptionally nice condition. It has a separately applied crown and crosses device on the white enamel and gilt cross.

The condition is near excellent, with some wear to the gilt apparent on the back. There is some soiling to the ribbon.

This would have been issued on the occasion of the installation of Felicjan Slawoj-Skladkowski as Prime Minister. He served from 15 May 1936 - 30 Sep 1939.

This bronze medal has the Polish eagle with the Order of Virtuti Militari imposed on its chest. It is dated 1918 1921. The back has the words POLSKA SWEMV OBROŃCY ("Poland for her defenders") with an oak leaf and acorns wreath.

It measures 35mm (1-3/8 inches) in diameter.
