This is an ENGLISH made tea pot with the maker mark as shown below:
This china is rarely seen in this nice condition, as the glaze was notoriously thin, and the paint is generally seen chipped and deteriorated. That is not the case with this piece. It is virtually flawless, with the exception of some staining mostly confined to one side, visible in the images below. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs on the pot. There are three tiny flakes on the underside of the captive lid which are not visible in normal display.
The pot measures 3-1/2 inches high and 6 inches spout to handle. It is about 3-1/2 inches in diameter at the body.
